filmsim does not use cookies, does not require sign-ups, and does not collect any personal identifiers that could track or cross-reference you across websites. All image processing happens entirely in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
filmsim uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand general usage patterns. This service is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use third-party cookies, and visitors are identified only by an anonymous hash derived from the incoming request. This hash is automatically discarded after 24 hours. No personal identifiers are stored, and it is not possible to reconstruct a browsing session or identify an individual user.

filmsim saves your preferences (film recipes, active recipe settings, view mode, and theme) in your browser's local storage so your settings persist between visits.
